Reasearch by Dr. Robert Preucel, Archaeologist and Director of the Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology, has been featured in a recent article in ARCHAEOLOGY.

The First American Revolution: Exploring the legacy of the New World’s most successful native rebellion, published online on February 13th, 2017, recounts the uprising by Pueblo warriors that drove out Spanish colonists from New Mexico. Recent archealogical evidence has challenges some details from the Spanish historical accounts, and paints a rich picutre of Pueblo history.
